Holidays: Top 7 Novels that I Want

Top 7 Novels that I want to get for the Holidays:

1.      Notorious Nineteen is written by Janet Evanovich. This novel is the nineteenth novel of the Stephanie Plum series. The first novel has recently been made into a movie, One for Your Money, which is what got me hooked to this series and the characters.  The Stephanie Plum novels are funny, have some romance, and have great mystery to them. I am in absolute love with this series. If I get any novels for the holidays, this is the one novel I must get.

2.      The Shattered Dark is written by Sandy Williams.  I really was entertained by the first novel, The Shadow Reader, it was a great start to the series. I look forward to seeing how the main character’s relationships develop in the next novel. Hopefully things will start to get better for her.

3.      The Blood Before Sunrise is written by Amanda Bonilla. Darian, the main character, is a character that you can easily empathize with. I think that may be a reason I liked the first novel so much. I hope to learn more about the characters and their abilities. I look forward to a bit of romance and the building on to the characters. I also hope to see Darian getting over her isolated beginnings.

4.      The Mage in Black is written by Jaye Wells. In the first novel, the saying that every story has two sides, persists throughout the plotline. The main character was stuck between too opposing powerful societies. She has to figure out what side she is going to have to fight for and which she will fight with. Now that she has chosen her side at the end of the first novel, I am looking forward to seeing what comes next for her and how she adapts to her new surroundings.

5.      The Blood of Dawn is written by Tami Dane. During first two novels, Sloane’s, the main character, personal life is rather crazy and complicated. I hope that in the next novel Sloane starts to fix and make her personal life not so complex. The Sloane Skye series is of the genre paranormal crime.

6.      The Sliver of Shadow is written by Allison Pang. Abby discovers that she has an incredibly powerful and rare ability at the end of the first novel. Her boyfriend, Brystion, also leaves at the end of the first novel. I look forward to seeing Abby grow into her newfound power and abilities and hopefully fix her relationship with Brystion.

7.      The Vengeful Dead is written by J. N. Duncan.  The main character discovered the existence of vampires in Deadworld. She also lost her best friend, her partner of the law, and her rock, Laurel. In Vengeful Dead, I want Jackie, the main character, to fully accept her friend’s death, to move on in her life, and to let go of her haunting past.
