Next Week 12-19-12

I finished One Grave at a Time, which is written by Jeaniene Frost, late last week.  It is a funny, drama, and action filled romance. I like the close friendships in the novels.  They are a close knit group that will do almost anything for each other.  One Grave at a Time is incredibly grabbing and it is well written. The novel is a good read.

I also read Bitten and Smitten written by Michelle Rowen.  Bitten and Smitten is of the romance genre. It is drama filled and funny. The main character is a witty and sarcastic woman who has just been turned into a vampire against her will. It is a good novel to read when you are having a lazy day.  Bitten and Smitten is a good and simple novel.

I started reading The Laughing Corpse written by Laurell K. Hamilton.  The novel is an Anita Blake vampire hunter novel. The Laughing Corpse is the second novel in this series. With a new serial killer and plenty of dangerous characters after Anita, the novel is an exciting adventure and mystery. The main character, Anita, finds danger at every turn and despite this fact she always picks herself back up and gets back into the mix of things.  The first novel was very good. So far, I really am enjoying reading the second novel.

Next week I will be review two novels. One novel I will be reviewing will be the Red- Headed Stepchild and the other will be the novel Blood Law. The Red- Headed Stepchild is written by Jaye Wells. The drama and intrigue of the novel is very hooking. There is a lot of the family drama in the Red- Headed Stepchild.  The main character has to pick a side on the upcoming war between the vampire and mage races. The Red- Headed Stepchild is very entertaining.

Blood Law is written by Jeannie Holmes. The main character, Alexandra Sabian, is a vampire detective and finds a connection from the current case she is working on to the murder of her father. Alex’s ex-fiancé also arrives in town at the same time. This novel is filled with drama and romance.  Alex discovers many things on her path to find justice, for both the murders that are occurring in her town and for her father.  This novel did not have any particular bad moments, but seemed to be just an okay novel.
